Set out below are the terms and conditions on which Inscribed Cosmetics provides services to its clients, please ensure you have read and fully understand these terms prior to booking your appointment with Inscribed cosmetics. By booking with Inscribed cosmetics you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

 

Location

All appointments take place at: Inscribed cosmetics, 1st and 2nd floor, 28 High Street, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, WV6 8QT. Please be aware that we are located on the 1st and 2nd floor which is accessible by stairs only.

 

Appointments

Appointments will be confirmed via email with a full confirmation of the details of your booking. All clients are requested to attend the clinic at their appointment time only.

 

Booking fee

Inscribed cosmetics operates a strict non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee policy. This booking fee is required for all appointments booked and will be redeemable against treatment on the appointment day. Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstance. Booking fees are non-transferable to any other person, or any other service than originally booked. Booking fee amount will depend on the service being booked. All services under £50, booking fee will be the full treatment amount. No appointment will be booked in without confirmation that the required booking fee has been paid. When purchasing a package, these must be paid in full or in accordance with a payment plan set up at the time of purchasing. Packages cannot be downgraded or converted in to single sessions.

 

If you have not sent over your booking fee within 1 hour of that appointment being offered to you this appointment will become available to others. Please ensure you then check that this appointment is still available before making the booking fee payment. The booking fee is payable via BACS or online card payment.

 

Cancellation or rescheduling

We understand that things happen, and appointments may have to be rescheduled. To reschedule an appointment Inscribed cosmetics requires at least 48 hours’ notice. Failure to give at least 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your booking fee under any circumstance. You can reschedule your appointment once only within 8 weeks of rescheduling; further changes or changes outside of this time framewill require a new booking fee payment.

 

If you need to cancel an appointment, this will result in the loss of your booking fee. We kindly ask that if you need to cancel an appointment to please let us know. Failure to inform us that you will not be attending your appointment will result in full treatment payment being required at the time of booking if you wish to book in again in future. If you do not show for two appointments without informing us, you will no longer be able to book in again with Inscribed cosmetics.

 

If you have booked under a promotional offer, the discount will no longer be given if you fail to give us 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. If you reschedule with 48 hours’ notice, the original terms of the promotional offer stand, so the treatment date must be before the original promotional offer end date. If you cannot rebook in time due to our availability this promotional offer will no longer be valid to use.

 

If you are booked in for a complimentary top up, applicable top up charges will apply if you do not give at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule.

Inscribed cosmetics reserves the right to cancel or reschedule clinic appointments at short notice should any emergencies or unforeseen circumstances occur. If we do need to alter appointments your booking fee will be transferred to a new and preferred appointment slot. Inscribed cosmetics will not be liable for consequential loss due to the necessity for clients to alter their arrangements.

 

Punctuality and attending your appointment

Please notify the clinic as soon as possible via email to inscribedcosmetics@outlook.com if you are going to be late for your appointment. Lateness of 10 minutes or more will result in automatic cancellation of your appointment and the loss of your booking fee. You will be required to reschedule your appointment to another day and a new booking fee will be required.

 

In the event you do not show up to your appointment, the booking fee will be lost. You will be required to pay the full treatment cost to secure your next appointment. You will be unable to schedule any future appointments at Inscribed cosmetics if you miss two consecutive appointments without contacting the clinic.

 

Payment

Remaining balance for treatments must be paid for in advance, or at the appointment time before treatment commences. Payment is to be made via BACS or with exact cash only.

 

Sickness

Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell, as many treatments are contraindicated. If in doubt, please contact Inscribed cosmetics by email on inscribedcosmetics@outlook.com and we can advise.

 

Consultation forms and medical questionnaires

Inscribed cosmetics are required to hold information regarding our patients’ personal details including medical information, in conjunction to treatments. This information remains strictly confidential. As part of your treatment you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and report any changes at future appointments. It is your responsibility to disclose all information required and Inscribed cosmetics will not be held responsible for any undisclosed information. All age restricted treatments will require valid photo ID. If you fail to provide this, treatment will not proceed, and this will result in the loss of your booking fee.

 

Aftercare

By signing your treatment consent form and reading these terms and conditions, you agree to follow the aftercare instructions for the treatment you are having. After care instructions will be explained to you in detail at your appointment and a copy will be sent via email after your appointment has ended.

 

Package appointments

If you have purchased a package for multiple sessions of any given service, these will be paid upfront or on a payment plan agreed at your time of booking, this is non-refundable. These appointments hold the same terms and conditions as for your first treatment. Although no further booking fee will be taken after your full balance has been paid to book your next session, you must ensure you give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Failure to give at least 48 hours’ notice, or not notifying us at all will result in the loss of that appointment/session. You will then be required to pay a new booking fee when booking in again. If you fail to show twice and give us no notice, you will no longer be able to book in with Inscribed cosmetics and you will lose any remaining sessions.

By purchasing a package you accept the specified amount of sessions being purchased for that given treatment. Inscribed cosmetics will not make any refunds for any unused sessions under any circumstance. Inscribed cosmetics will not transfer any unused treatment monetary value to any other service, or any other area with the same service.​

Package expiry policy

All treatment packages for laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal must be used within 18 months of the first session date. Any sessions not used within this time frame will be forfeited. Expiry dates are set to ensure treatments are completed within safe and recommended intervals for best results. Your practitioner will recommend how long to leave between sessions. Extensions may only be granted in cases of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or medical conditions, as outlined below in the clinic's  packages & medical conditions policy.

Packages & medical conditions

If you become pregnant or begin breastfeeding during your course of treatments (laser hair removal or laser tattoo removal packages), your package will be placed on hold immediately, as laser hair removal cannot be carried out during this time.

If you develop any other medical condition that makes you unsuitable for treatment, your package may also be placed on hold at the discretion of clinic management . You may be asked to provide confirmation from your GP or specialist. 

In both cases, the expiry of your package may be extended for up to 12 months to allow you to safely resume treatment.

  • Any unused sessions remain valid only within this extended timeframe.

  • No refunds will be provided for unused sessions due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, or medical conditions.

Tattoo appointments

If you have booked an appointment for a custom fine line tattoo it is your responsibility to ensure that you send over all your pictures and ideas for the desired tattoo at least 7 days before your appointment time. This ensures we have enough time to design the piece and make any changes thereafter. Failure to send this over will result in the cancellation of your appointment and the loss of booking fee.

 

Within the week before your appointment your custom design will be sent over to you, using your design ideas, and it is your responsibility to communicate any changes required back to us. Final designs must be approved at least 48 hours before your appointment time.

Refusal of treatment

Inscribed cosmetics has the right to refuse treatment without reservation to anyone who has:

  • Not advised us of any medical conditions or changes during the consultation or prior to treatment that may hinder you from having the treatment.

  • Created a safety issue in or within close proximity of our premises.

  • Shown threatening behaviour to our staff or customers.

  • Regularly cancelled last minute or not shown at all.

  • An unpaid bill.

If treatment is refused for any of these reasons, Inscribed cosmetics reserves the right to refuse treatment to you and charge you for the cancellation. This may be the booking fee or the full cost of treatment.

 

Under 18s, plus ones and animals

All our services are age restricted to persons 18 years old and above. Photo ID will be required at your appointment. Failure to provide this will result in cancellation of the appointment and loss of your booking fee.

 

Due to health and safety children are not permitted in the clinic. We kindly request that if it is possible to do so, you attend your treatment alone. Due to health and safety, dogs or any other animals are strictly not permitted into the clinic.

 

Personal belongings

All clients are responsible for their own personal belongings whilst in the clinic. Inscribed cosmetics will not be held responsible for any losses incurred.

 

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are non-redeemable for cash. Gift vouchers are redeemable only against products and services to the value of the gift voucher or higher than the gift voucher value. If the service chosen is a higher money value than the gift voucher the difference is payable via BACS or cash. Gift vouchers are not redeemable on any special offers or reduced-price treatments. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
